Most single-day sessions happen in a conference room and stay there. Accelerator Days are built differently. Give your team one fully facilitated day, and they'll work through something real together, using structured exercises, physical materials, and research-grounded frameworks rather than slides everyone forgets by Friday. What they leave with depends on the day itself: a completed toolkit, a redesigned process, or a plan they can start using the next morning.

Every Accelerator Day is designed around a specific outcome your team needs to walk away with, whether that's a completed change plan, a defined strategic planning process, a redesigned workflow, or a clearer picture of how your team leads and works together.

A single day, well designed, can do more than most people expect. The constraint is intentional. When a leadership team knows they have one focused day, distractions fall away in a way they don’t during a half-attended lunch-and-learn or a multi-week course competing with everyone’s inbox. We’ve built these days around that constraint rather than against it: tight enough to demand real presence, structured enough to guarantee a concrete outcome by 4pm.
Single days aren't meant to replace deeper engagement where it's needed. Some topics, particularly change management, can be paired into multi-day experiences, and some organizations use an Accelerator Day as the entry point into a longer strategic planning or leadership development partnership. How is an Accelerator Day different from a typical training or retreat?
Most training is built to transfer information, and a lot of retreats are just one icebreaker after another. Accelerator Days are built to produce something concrete by the end of the day, whether that's a decision, a plan, a redesigned process, or a genuinely clearer understanding of how someone leads or how a team works together. The content is grounded in the same research base you’d expect from serious training, but the format assumes your team will be building something, not just listening to something.
Do you offer these virtually?
Every Accelerator Day is in-person by default. The format depends on physical materials, room movement, and the kind of unscripted conversation that happens more easily when a team is in the same room for a full day. Some topics offer a virtual alternative, but those aren't simply the in-person day delivered over video. What do we need to provide?
A functional meeting or event space, set up and ready to work in, along with a screen and audio for presentations. We bring everything else, including all materials for the day's activities.
Can we combine two or more Accelerator Days?
Yes, and this is common. Most Accelerator Days can be paired together, whether that's an advanced track taken as a second day, or a combination of topics built into a broader development plan. Many clients start with one or two days and expand from there. Sometimes, if you're starting to think about multiple Accelerator Days, it may be better for us to create a customized engagement.
