About transform.forward
transform.forward is a change management consulting firm that helps nonprofit, corporate, government, and higher education leaders plan and lead organizational change.
We believe change isn't just inevitable, it's an opportunity. In a world where complexity, competition, and disruption are constant, transformational change is what sets thriving organizations apart. Through strategic planning, change management consulting, and leadership development, we help people and organizations harness that change to drive innovation, sharpen their competitive edge, and shape a more intentional future. Whether adopting new technologies, evolving business models, or reimagining the way work gets done, we partner with clients to turn bold ideas into sustainable action. That's why we meet our clients where they are and help them move forward with confidence.
Why transform.forward?
The term transform.forward (or t.f) stems from game design and coding concepts. It refers to the direction an object is facing in a computer program. A "transform" stores information about an object's position, size, or angle. The "transform.forward" is a special part of the transform that shows which direction the object is moving. Similar to this coding concept, we help organizations understand themselves so they can move in a forward trajectory.
Our Core Values
Every organization we work with is in the middle of something hard — a pivot, a transition, a moment that requires more than good intentions. Our values are the commitments we make to you in those moments. They're not a list we assembled to look good on a website; they reflect how we actually work, what you can expect from us, and how we'll hold ourselves accountable when it matters most. When you partner with transform.forward, these aren't just our values — they're our promise.
-
We design with people, not just content in mind.
Every detail (visual, verbal, spatial, emotional) carries meaning. When we engage, we believe the how is just as important as the what. Whether engaging clients or collaborating as a team, we intentionally craft resonant experiences that feel thoughtful, clear, and human-centered. We aim to create experiences that feel tailored, not cookie-cutter.
-
We embody care through craft.
We don’t cut corners when it comes to what matters; every output reflects a set of choices, and we make choices with intention and care. We hold ourselves to a high standard, not for the sake of perfection, but because the work deserves thoughtfulness, clarity, and respect. We trust each other to uphold the quality and character that define our work. Pride in our craft is something we share and celebrate together.
-
We are here to advance the field, not echo it.
We approach each engagement as a creative opportunity, not a compliance task. As thought partners, we advance the field by asking better questions, testing ideas, and creating practices that meet the needs of context. Our work draws on evidence and expertise, but it is forged by curiosity, innovation, and the needs of each context. We’re not afraid to question assumptions or challenge the status quo in pursuit of something better.
-
We invest in relationships that make meaningful work possible.
Whether with clients or with one another, we lead with curiosity, care, and candor. We believe the best partnerships are both human and honest, grounded in mutual trust and shaped by shared purpose. We bring both empathy and edge, asking the hard questions and walking alongside our partners through the complexity of transformation.
-
Our work must always reflect integrity, dignity, and inclusion.
We draw clear boundaries around who we work with and how we work. If a project or partnership compromises people’s wellbeing, equity, or humanity, it’s not for us. We believe true transformation must be ethical, responsible, and rooted in care for the communities it touches.
